Primary Robotics Extension

The Wilder Wolves - Development Squad


CASTEM Offers 20 places in Terms 2 and 3  to Year 5 and 6 students from SE Metropolitan Network Cluster Schools in a Robotics Extension Program. Students learn about Robotics, Physics, Engineering and Coding. The sessions are Weekly for 7 weeks after school at Cecil Andrews College. Applications are sent to Primary Schools in the weeks prior to the program commencement. Places are limited and priority is given to Primary schools fielding FIRST Lego Teams. Mentors from the Cecil Andrews College Senior FIRST Robotics Team - The Wilder Wolves assist a High School Technologies teacher in delivering this program.

Our Schools Network Cluster STEM Technologies loan system. Teachers in the SE Metropolitan Schools Cluster can LOGIN, Browse and request loans of Classroom STEM Technologies such as Robotics, Electronics, Engineering and Science Equipment. Teachers will need to pick-up and return equipment to the CASTEM Centre. Teachers have the option to request Teacher Development School Support for the Technology - one of the CASTEM Team will visit your school and conduct training in the use of the Technology in the classroom.

Teacher Development Professional Learning (TDS - PL)

Cecil Andrews College is home to a purpose-built STEM Centre and STEM Focussed Academic Extension Program for years 7-10. We are also a Technologies TDS, which means we offer Teacher PL by request. Find the application forms and information about Up-Coming Events here.
