Year 11 Engineering Safety and 3 D Printing with Engineer in Residence Craig Power

Four year 11 students worked with Craig Power (Engineer and Principal OHS Consultant Perth - FIE Aus and owner of iSOL8 Pty Ltd - LinkedIn Profile) on various small investigative and action learning projects in our new STEM Centre ranging from Safety Auditing to 3D Printing and Laser Engraving.  A highlight of the experience for students was a visit to The Inventor's Hub with CEO Megan Gobey - read about it on the iSoL8 BLog.  2017

CALLS of ‘hit!’ and ‘missed!’ rang out across the Cecil Andrews College campus recently as Year 9 students enjoyed a giant, hand-made game of Battleship.

The project combined six-weeks of engineering, design, creative arts and strategy as students created a large-scale cardboard version of the game as part of the school’s P-TECH program.
